This tune reminds me of the end of a great party film.
A song for the morning after.
When the camera slowly sways passed the party streamers and sleeping drunks.
On counters. On tables.
Sharing couches.
knees on the floor, head in the kitchen sink.
Drooling.
When the shot slowly drifts over what was- at one point in the night- a ridiculous party.
Only to find that all the partyers have gone home.
All the young kids with curfews.
The only ones left at the party
are the too drunk to move, and the ones who are in love.
The ones that spend the night in bed together in the locked room.
Or the ones sharing a damp towel for a bed outside under the swing set.
The ones who are perfectly content with sharing whole minutes of silence.
Thats what it feels like to me.
