LIYL: The Black Keys
This has been on repeat ever since I discovered it on Bandcamp.
Trevor Menear writes for no one.
He's making music for pure consumption... Music for the open hearted.
His blues is so thick, you can cut it in half with your finger nail.
The album varies from the strong whole-hearted rock,
to a light acoustic pizzicato (or "Picasso" to some know-it-all hipsters)
I think its the organic sound that keeps pulling me back in..
(And that im totally sick of listening to the Black Keys)
...Trevor is quite the breath of fresh air.
