rarely has there been any original material thats come to my attention.
Hardly has there been any new and fresh ideas that- not only strike you at first beat- but make you plummet back into your chair, as if you cant bare to stand up until the track is over.
Constantly, we find old songs, remade and re produced to sound like new.
...Frankly its all shit.
...Being a musician, this all strikes me as quite insulting.
Is there a reason more and more covers of the same songs are being produced?
a better question would be--
where has all the inspiration gone?
Where are all those beautiful muses that our poor alcoholics we called musicians wrote about?
...The best ideas have run their course...
The good artists.... they stick to what they're good at..
The best artists....they collaborate with the others.
Hey, at least its a change of pace.
